A native to San Antonio, Travis Reed was born and raised in the Olmos Park/Alamo Heights area. Travis graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in business. He began his Real Estate career fresh out of college in 2007 working on the commercial side at United Commercial Realty. Travis then found his true passion was in Residential Real Estate and started pursuing that field in 2010. His years of experience allowed him to qualify and obtain his brokers license in 2012.
His parents, both attorneys, instilled in him a strong work ethic and taught him to value the power of honesty and initiative. His mother, Judge Susan Reed, has always encouraged Travis to be involved with his community and to make sure he is providing a valuable service to San Antonio.
During his Residential Real Estate career, Travis has been awarded the 5 Star Texas Monthly award 4 years in a row. He is experienced in a wide range of clients from the first-time homebuyers to the luxury home market. He has a great passion for Real Estate and is always there to make sure his clients get the highest level of representation.
When beginning his career, he was a member of Housing 1 Source. It where there that he was tasked to helping the military with all their relocation needs. He handled purchases and rentals throughout the greater San Antonio area. During this time, he gained valuable experience in multiple aspects of transitioning to a new city. This included knowledge of Greater San Antonio neighborhoods, working with utility companies, qualifying for loans, temporary housing, and anything that the military members needed for an easy transition. During his time at Housing 1 Source he was a top producing Relocation Specialist and once licensed he was promoted to their Corporate Broker.
After gaining valuable experience Travis decided to go out on his own with his mentor Bill Barkley. As a top producer for his company, River Valley Real Estate, he learned how to handle an even wider range of client representation including: Higher end sales, land listing and sales, investment properties and rental listings.
It is with his vast knowledge in Real Estate that he has decided to come to his home area and work with Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty. It has always been his passion to help purchase and sell in his area and he is now realizing that passion.
