Kuper Sotheby's International Realty is truly San Antonio's first family of real estate....

Kuper Realty Corporation was founded in 1972 by Charles Kuper Sr. and his son Charles Jr. (Charlie) to facilitate the sales and marketing of their personal commercial real estate ventures in North San Antonio. In 1976 Kathleen Kuper joined her husband and son with the intention of establishing the best service-oriented, residential real estate firm in the city. Kathleen started her real estate career working from her kitchen table. She brought her drive and dedication combined with her gracious personality to the company. The residential sales grew as a result of her success, rapidly expanding the company from six sales associates in 1981 to 125 full time associates in 2011. In its formative days sellers would say, “Kathleen, I want you to sell my house, but, I do not want it listed in the multiple listing services and don’t put up a sign.” Kathleen delivered time and again on those requests and gained a reputation of being an expert in luxury home sales. To this date she can be found in her office every day. Providing the best real estate service continues to be her life’s passion.

Charlie served as the company’s active Broker and found time to teach real estate at Trinity University. Because of his dedication to excellence, Kuper Realty Corporation was recognized in 1978 by being named the exclusive affiliate of Sotheby’s Realty for San Antonio. Rick Kuper, Charlie’s brother, bought the company in 2007 after 26 years of real estate experience. Charlie continues as an active Kuper Ranch Sales agent. Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty is now under the leadership of Rick, who continues to guide the organization with a focus on integrity and extraordinary customer service. Following in the Kuper tradition, J Kuper, Rick’s oldest son, joined the company as General Manager in 2010. J comes to the real estate industry after a successful career in the technology industry followed by an equally successful stint in commercial construction. Sotheby’s International Realty is a leader in luxury real estate with a network of over 500 of the finest real estate offices around the world making up its network of franchises. Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty has continued to retain that exclusive designation for San Antonio and South Texas. This alliance offers local service and knowledge with a global marketing reach. With the continued energy and dedication of Rick and J Kuper , the company continues to be guided by integrity and focus on customer service.
